Tuttosport has revealed the list of 100 pre-selected players for the Golden Boy award, which recognizes the best young player under 21 in European football. One player from PSG is among the nominees.
A shortlist of 20 players was subsequently unveiled, including 4 French talents: Warren Zaïre-Emery from Paris Saint-Germain, Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich, Lucas Gourna-Douath from RB Salzburg, and Andy Diouf from RC Lens.
Among the favorites to win the award are the previous winner, Gavi from FC Barcelona, who is vying for a second consecutive victory. He is joined by contenders like Jude Bellingham from Real Madrid and Jamal Musiala from Bayern Munich.
Other players, including Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig, Benjamin Sesko from RB Salzburg, and Rasmus Højlund from Manchester United, are also strong candidates for the trophy.
