On January 3rd, Paris Saint-Germain is set to face Toulouse FC in the Trophée des Champions, but the question remains: where?

The location for PSG’s Trophée des Champions clash with Toulouse at the beginning of 2024 is yet to be decided by the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP). According to Le Parisien, one option under consideration is the Martyrs of Pentecost Stadium in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo. This stadium, with a capacity of around 80,000 seats, could host the event.

If this option is unavailable, the LFP is contemplating playing the match… at the Toulouse Stadium. The Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP) is exploring various possibilities to ensure the smooth running of this encounter.

PSG favors the Toulouse Stadium, while the LFP seems to prefer an overseas option, primarily for prestige reasons.

However, within the LFP, there is reluctance to impose a long journey abroad on PSG. The possibility of organizing the match in Qatar or Saudi Arabia had been mentioned before being abandoned due to events in the Middle East.
