The Chilling Details of the Assault and Burglary at Donnarumma’s Home

In the night from Thursday to Friday, the home of Gianluigi Donnarumma, the PSG goalkeeper, located in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, was burglarized in a violent attack.

According to a source close to the investigation at BFMTV, here are the details of the attack followed by the burglary suffered by Gianluigi Donnarumma: “The perpetrators struck Gianluigi Donnarumma, causing him two bleeding wounds to the head,” explained BFMTV.

Afterwards, they tied up the Italian goalkeeper and his partner under the threat of a weapon, before stealing jewelry, luxury bags, and watches. The burglars managed to escape while the couple freed themselves from their restraints.

Gianluigi Donnarumma and his partner were taken to the hospital for medical care, but fortunately, the goalkeeper’s partner was not physically injured during this violent attack. The investigation into this criminal act has been entrusted to the Brigade de Répression du Banditisme (BRB). Donnarumma is still expected to fly with PSG on Saturday morning to Japan for the summer tour.

Other players have been victims of burglaries in recent years, including Marquinhos, Thiago Silva, Angel Di Maria, Mauro Icardi, and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting. In January, the criminal court of Versailles sentenced two men to prison for the burglary of Marquinhos’ family home in March 2021 in the Yvelines region.
