Warren Zaïre Emery, at only 17 years old, is a key player and part of the French squad for the upcoming trip to Greece next week. However, due to his minority status, the law requires his parents to give their authorization for him to leave the French territory.

The Law of June 3, 2016, concerning the fight against terrorism, in effect since January 15, 2017, stipulates that a minor residing in France, regardless of nationality, cannot leave the territory without prior authorization. This authorization must be signed by at least one of the parents or by a person holding parental authority.

This measure applies to all travels, whether individual or collective, including trips with sports teams, as is the case with Warren Zaïre Emery and the French national team.
