After the match between Paris Saint-Germain and Newcastle, PSG coach Luis Enrique addressed the media.
The match, played in the context of the 5th round of the Champions League, ultimately ended with a penalty converted by Mbappé in the 90th +8 minute, securing a draw for PSG. Luis Enrique commented on this complex scenario in his interview with Canal+ Sport.
“This is the Champions League, we all know the level of Newcastle. I believe we played a complete match, a serious match, the crowd was superb. We had 15 shots on goal, four big chances; we did everything to win, but in the end, we were able to score a penalty only in injury time. We are content, that’s the most important thing.”
