Doubts about Kylian Mbappé’s participation in the Coupe de France final have been dispelled by Le Parisien.

Mbappé in the stands for his final match with PSG? That was the big question in recent hours. Luis Enrique’s vague statements have fueled the speculation.

“I count on all my players, as I have throughout the season. It’s a beautiful week; some players have played, others haven’t,” explained the PSG coach, before holding everyone, including Mbappé, accountable. “This week, we’ll see who is ready, who is not, and who is the most eager. The Coupe de France final is very important for us,” said the PSG coach this weekend.

According to Le Parisien, there shouldn’t be any surprises: Kylian Mbappé will be on the field Saturday night against Lyon. “Kylian Mbappé has every chance of starting the match. His participation, as of now, is not in question, even though the coach has not yet finalized his starting eleven. He hasn’t revealed anything internally, but he hasn’t given any indication to his staff that suggests otherwise. A substitute role or absence from the squad would be a shock,” the sports daily reports.

Despite spending much of the past few days enjoying himself in Cannes or at his farewell party, Luis Enrique has stated that such activities do not concern him. So, will Mbappé be excluded from the final? The answer will come on Saturday.
