PSG Plans Stop and Game in South Korea

The Paris Saint-Germain team is preparing for their upcoming Asian tour, which will include a visit to Japan and a possible stop in South Korea.

After concluding their training camp in Japan on August 2nd, PSG is considering playing a friendly match in South Korea. This is due to the rescheduling of the Trophée des Champions, originally set for August 5th in Bangkok but now scheduled for January 3rd.

With this gap in their schedule, the French champions are looking to include a stop in South Korea before the start of the Ligue 1 season on the weekend of August 12th-13th.

Naturally, PSG’s presence in South Korea would be further enhanced by the potential signing of South Korean player Lee Kang-in. However, according to L’Equipe, the club needs to find a promoter who can quickly organize the match.

In Japan, PSG is scheduled to play three friendly matches: on July 25th and 28th in Osaka against Al-Nassr and Cerezo Osaka respectively, and on August 1st, 2023, in Tokyo against Inter Milan.
