This Wednesday, Paris Saint-Germain will face Girona at the Parc des Princes to kick off the group stage of the UEFA Champions League (kick-off at 9:00 PM CET).

The big night is Wednesday. Against Girona, PSG will be nearly complete: Vitinha and Warren Zaïre-Emery are back. “The two players, who had been injured while on international duty, were able to participate fully in this morning’s training session at the PSG Campus,” confirmed RMC Sport.

Meanwhile, Gianluigi Donnarumma, who injured his right thigh during the match against Brest, will remain in recovery this week and will not be available for this crucial match.

Tenas or Safonov?

Matvey Safonov, the Russian goalkeeper still relatively unknown to PSG supporters, might make his debut in the Champions League on Wednesday. However, according to L’Équipe, Luis Enrique could opt for Arnau Tenas, who is valued for his footwork, to guard the goal against Girona.

Probable Line-Up: Tenas or Safonov – Hakimi, Marquinhos, Pacho, Mendes – Neves, Zaïre-Emery or Vitinha, Lee – Dembélé, Asensio, Barcola.
