PSG is receiving assistance from the Île-de-France region: President Valérie Pecresse offers her services.

With the Paris city hall unwilling to sell the Parc des Princes to PSG, Valérie Pécresse, the president of the Île-de-France region and a major rival of Anne Hidalgo, has entered the fray.

According to Le Parisien, she is proposing to PSG the possibility of constructing a stadium outside of Paris. To this end, she suggests exploring locations throughout the Paris region to find the ideal site.

The regional president’s idea is to have the new stadium built by 2030, in tandem with the development of future Grand Paris transit lines. The site in Montigny-le-Bretonneux remains one of the favorites, but other locations are also being considered.
