PSG Clinches Trophée des Champions Hosting Victory; Venue Confirmed at Parc des Princes

The Professional Football League Officially Announces New Date and Venue for Trophée des Champions 2023

It’s now official. Following a minor (intentional) hiccup where PSG unveiled ticket sales for the match before the LFP, the Professional Football League has confirmed the details for the upcoming Trophée des Champions. The clash between Paris Saint-Germain, the winners of Ligue 1 2022-2023, and Toulouse, the victors of the Coupe de France, will take place at the Parc des Princes on January 3rd at 8:45 PM. The match will be broadcasted on Amazon Prime.

Originally scheduled for August 5, 2023, in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, the organizer had to cancel. The match was postponed, and various options were considered: Toulouse, Parc des Princes, Kinshasa (Congo), Saudi Arabia, and Qatar were among the discussed venues.

However, PSG advocated for the game to be played in France, leading to the decision to host it at the Parc des Princes.
