PSG is under scrutiny by the Justice system following accusations from Mediapart regarding possible conflicts of interest in Neymar’s transfer: the Ministry of Finance has been searched this week.

According to Mediapart, Gérald Darmanin, then Minister of Public Accounts, allegedly advised PSG so that the club would not have to pay taxes on this transfer.

According to Mediapart, a search was conducted on Monday at the Ministry of Finance by the police from the Central Office for the Fight against Corruption and Financial Fraud (Oclciff) of the National Directorate of the Judicial Police. This judicial action took place in the offices of the Directorate General of Public Finance (DGFiP) following these revelations.

According to Mediapart, Jérôme Fournel, then Chief of Staff to Darmanin, and Hugues Renson, former Vice President of the National Assembly and a declared PSG supporter, are also under scrutiny by the justice system.
