Two months after leaving Paris Saint-Germain to join Al-Hilal, the 31-year-old Neymar responded irritably to a social media post that claimed his departure from PSG was due to unsuccessful physical tests.

The Brazilian forward, who left PSG for around €90 million at the end of the transfer window, dismissed this assertion as a complete falsehood. “The night passes, the day passes, and things don’t change,” the former Parisian wrote on his Instagram account.

He added, “There are accounts that are not part of the player’s daily life; they don’t know what’s really happening, but they post as if they were the person in question… I still believe in a future without fake news.”

According to this Brazilian media outlet targeted by Neymar’s criticism, PSG’s coach, Luis Enrique, allegedly informed the Brazilian that he would not be a starter if he remained with PSG, so he was free to leave. However, Neymar also refutes this claim. Since then, the article has been removed.
