In a recent interview on “Rothen s’enflamme” on RMC, PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi expressed his dissatisfaction with Lionel Messi’s criticisms of the club since his departure to Inter Miami.

Lionel Messi has not held back in criticizing PSG in recent months, and this has not gone down well with Nasser Al-Khelaïfi. The PSG president stated, “I have great respect for him, but speaking ill of PSG is not right, it’s not respectful… It’s not our style.”

Nasser Al-Khelaïfi continued, “Messi is the greatest player in history. It wasn’t easy for him to come after years at Barcelona, where everything was tailored for him. Here, it’s different; there are other players like Kylian (Mbappé) and Neymar.”

Addressing one of Messi’s critiques regarding the non-celebration of his World Cup at Parc des Princes, Al-Khelaïfi clarified, “We are in France. He won against Kylian, and it’s a French club. I didn’t want the whole stadium to whistle against him.”
