During PSG’s defeat against AC Milan (2-1) at San Siro, the return of Gianluigi Donnarumma was an opportunity for Italian supporters to express their anger. The Italian goalkeeper reflects on this challenging evening.

“Foreign experience changes your way of thinking; it makes you grow in every way. It makes me grow on and off the field because you change your way of thinking and your perspectives. It helped me a lot; I only did well,” he first stated.

Then, he addressed the hostility from Milan supporters during the match against PSG. “The whistles and jeers at San Siro? On the field, you try not to be distracted by anything, giving everything you have for the team.”

“Surely, after the match, you feel it more, and you release your emotions. But on the field, you try not to be affected. From that point of view, I have progressed a lot,” said Gianluigi Donnarumma at the Italian Football Hall of Fame held at the Federal Technical Center in Coverciano.
