Good news for PSG: According to Le Parisien, Milan Skriniar is recovering quickly from his serious injury.

On January 3rd, during the Trophée des Champions match won by Paris Saint-Germain against Toulouse Football Club (2-0), Milan Skriniar had to leave the field due to injury. The diagnosis was severe: the central defender suffered a dislocation of the lateral peroneal tendons in his left ankle.

A few days later, he underwent surgery. At the time, the duration of his absence was not specified by the club, but it was expected to last at least until the end of the 2023-2024 season.

According to information from Le Parisien, Milan Skriniar could, however, return to play before the break. The defender is ahead of schedule compared to the timetable set by the medical staff of Paris Saint-Germain.

Milan Skriniar may not be ready for the two matches against FC Barcelona in the Champions League quarter-finals, but the hope of an early return remains.
