Milan Skriniar, who suffered a dislocation of the lateral peroneal tendons in his left ankle, will undergo a retinaculum operation at ASPETAR Hospital in Doha next week. Follow-up care will be provided afterward.

Will Milan Skriniar be out for the entire season? Not necessarily. According to L’Equipe, he will be absent for three to four months but could potentially make a comeback at the very end of the season to participate in a few matches, if all goes well.

Luis Enrique addressed the issue in a press conference on Saturday, stating, “Unfortunately, after the match, the doctors examined Skriniar, and he needs an operation. Until that is done and the results are known, we won’t be able to determine the duration of his unavailability. It’s sad, as it always is when a player gets injured. The action didn’t seem very dangerous, but it’s still sad news.”
