Milan-PSG: Daniel Riolo Criticizes Mbappé and Kolo Muani

Similar to his performance at St James’ Park against Newcastle (1-4), Paris Saint-Germain’s forward Kylian Mbappé had another lackluster match against Milan AC. For Daniel Riolo, this is becoming a concerning trend.

Mbappé was virtually absent during the match, leaving PSG playing almost with ten men. According to Daniel Riolo, the PSG player needs to be more decisive.

“This evening, I won’t just criticize Milan Skriniar, who was beaten by Olivier Giroud for the goal, and the defenders.”

“Because up front, we need to talk about Mbappé. Like in Newcastle, he didn’t please me at all. He had two big chances; you score one out of the two, and you leave Milan with a draw. We talk about world-class or not? On those two occasions, I want at least one of them in,” the RMC commentator reacted.

Randal Kolo Muani also faces criticism. “Giroud is better than Kolo Muani today (Tuesday). If you put him (Giroud) in the PSG lineup in the role of the number 9, you win the match with him. He is good in assists; Kolo Muani doesn’t know how to do that. He is not good in that style. We need to ask ourselves this question. You can’t set up a game plan with a guy who doesn’t fit. You can feel that Kolo Muani has the right intentions, the desire. The problem is that he arrives at a high-pressure club with a significant transfer and he has to live with that, and that’s complicated. We don’t choose the transfer fee; it’s in his head,” Riolo noted.
