Marquinhos provided insights before PSG’s match against Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League.

On Luis Enrique and his style: “He has a lot of ambition, gives us a lot of instructions during matches but also freedom. I love working with a coach like that, someone who is eager and has a lot to offer to the locker room. He deserves to be here.”

Regarding the team’s mindset: “We are always very calm and serene. There’s more noise outside than inside, especially as important matches approach. It’s starting to pull from all sides. In the locker room, we are very calm; we don’t hide. There are only great players in the locker room who know where we stand.”

On the Champions League not being an obsession: “The UEFA Champions League is not an obsession or pressure for us. We work because we are competitors, and the club has the desire to go after all competitions, including this one. We know the path, it’s long, we need to take it step by step. It’s a very challenging competition to win.”

Regarding Mbappé: “His role hasn’t changed; it has always been clear that he’s a very important player. He’s a leader, and he was already a leader among the others. He has a voice, a vision, and expresses well what he wants, what he sees, and what we need to do to improve.”
