During a discussion on RMC, Christophe Dugarry weighed in on Kylian Mbappé’s future, emphasizing the need for clarity. If Mbappé has indeed chosen to join Real Madrid, he should announce it promptly.
Despite conflicting reports about Mbappé’s destination, Dugarry believes that it’s crucial for the player to end the speculation. “Kylian Mbappé is not responsible for the circus surrounding him. However, he is responsible for putting an end to it quickly,” Dugarry remarked on RMC.
He stressed the importance of Mbappé making his decision known to everyone involved. “I think it’s the best for everyone. This young man still needs to show that he has matured. He needs to own up to his choices,” Dugarry added.
Dugarry expressed confidence that once Mbappé announces his decision, it will not cause any issues. “If he says, ‘I have three or four months left with PSG, and I will give my all for this club, but I have decided to leave at the end of the season,’ I genuinely believe that no Parisian supporter will hold it against him,” Dugarry stated. “He has given his all to PSG, with remarkable statistics. The only regret might be the Champions League, but nobody will blame him for that.”
