During the Euro 2024 match between France and Poland (1-1), at the 88th minute, Kylian Mbappé complained of receiving a blow to his face after a duel with Robert Lewandowski.
Tensions rose between Mbappé and Lewandowski. The French forward, who is suffering from a fractured nose, was once again struck in the face after a contact with Lewandowski. At that moment, the Polish striker used his body to shield the ball and, in pushing Mbappé with his arm, lightly touched his face.
Mbappé immediately protested against this action. After removing his protective mask to touch his nose, he seemed to say “the other son of a bitch” referring to Lewandowski.
However, by the end of the match, the two men did not seem angry. The Real Madrid and FC Barcelona players embraced without any issue.
