Mauricio Pochettino has voiced his strong opinions about PSG’s transfer policy and the swift firing of coaches. Speaking to Football.London, the Chelsea manager, and former PSG coach, expressed his concerns about the club’s approach.

“In City or Liverpool, they lose in semi-finals or finals, and yet they still give the coaching staff the opportunity to work during the pre-season,” said Pochettino. He acknowledged the challenges of adapting to a new club, especially one like PSG, where the immediate goal is to win the UEFA Champions League. However, he emphasized that clubs need consistency and time to build a successful foundation.
Pochettino hopes that this mindset will change at PSG. He believes that Paris deserves more coherence and time to establish a solid foundation. He highlighted that consistent hard work and a well-thought-out plan are essential for long-term success, citing examples of clubs like Liverpool, City, and Madrid, which have achieved their goals through years of diligent work and consistency.
