During the PSG vs. OM match at Parc des Princes, a man flagged under security concerns was apprehended on Sunday, as reported by the Paris prosecutor’s office via BFM Paris Île-de-France.

The incident unfolded shortly before 8 p.m. when the man, born in 1994, called the police himself, falsely claiming that he intended to place a bomb at the stadium during the Classico. Law enforcement initiated a search for the individual, which lasted for approximately two hours, according to RMC Sport.

Moreover, the suspect allegedly assaulted a tourist without apparent reason at a café on Rue Molitor, according to a police source.

A first police team went to the 29-year-old man’s residence, but he was not there. Eventually, the police located him in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, near the Balard metro station. During his arrest, the man purported to be an intelligence service agent. Ultimately, he was taken to the psychiatric unit at Hôtel-Dieu for evaluation.
