Any rumors of tensions between Kylian Mbappé and Luis Enrique have been firmly denied by the PSG coach.
Despite Mbappé’s reported unease after being repositioned as a center-forward, Luis Enrique assured reporters that all is well, contradicting claims made by sources from Le Parisien and L’Equipe.
“As always, a perfect relationship. We’re not in a relationship, but mostly because he doesn’t want to (smile),” quipped Luis Enrique during Tuesday’s press conference.
“I don’t know why you keep asking me this question; I am very close to most of my players. We have always been very close with Kylian. He makes jokes, always laughs. I also like to laugh. We have a very good relationship with the rest of the players.”
