The new PSG coach wants to be as close to the field as possible: while waiting to settle in Paris, Luis Enrique is living in the brand-new training center in Poissy.
A brand-new hotel, all expenses paid… Not a bad way to start. Like his predecessors, Luis Enrique has been staying in a hotel since his arrival at PSG last week. But this is no ordinary hotel: it is located within the club’s newly opened training center in Poissy. The hotel boasts luxurious rooms.
“Luis Enrique has decided to settle with his staff in the rooms of the new training center in Poissy. Another radical decision made by the Spanish coach: no more visits to the center of Paris and Neuilly. He now wants to be as close as possible to the training center in the Yvelines,” as reported by RMC.
This is a good idea, as during peak traffic, it usually takes between 40 minutes and an hour to travel from the center of Paris to Poissy. Luis Enrique intends to save those two hours per day.
“This change of scenery has been less drastic for part of the family,” adds the Spanish media outlet Relevo. However, “Elena Cullell, the Asturian’s wife, knows French due to her primary education in the language. The Spanish coach has already started studying the Gallic language, as Luis Enrique is seeking complete integration into PSG.”
