Following a month-long absence, Kang In Lee is set to make his comeback at PSG, as South Korea concludes its participation in the Asian Cup.
South Korea’s journey in the tournament has come to an end, with Kang In Lee’s country being eliminated by Jordan in the semi-finals of the 2024 Asian Cup. The team suffered a 2-0 defeat, ruling out any chance of competing for third place in the competition.
After participating in the tournament in Qatar, South Korea will return directly to Paris, bypassing a return journey to South Korea, as reported by Le Parisien.
“According to our information, he is not expected to return to South Korea before boarding the flight to France. Unless he expresses a desire to resume training promptly, Kang-In Lee could enjoy a few days off before rejoining the team, similar to Achraf Hakimi after his return from the Africa Cup of Nations,” explains the Parisian daily.
