PSG is now threatening to leave Parc des Princes: the new shareholder Arctos Partners has a precise plan according to French media L’Equipe.

Arctos Partners aims to shake things up. Having entered the PSG’s capital a few weeks ago, the investment fund seeks to revolutionize the club. By leaving Parc des Princes, it proposes the establishment of a real estate complex inside and around the new PSG stadium. This would not be feasible around the current stadium.

This project would include various facilities such as hotels, restaurants, fitness centers, office spaces, parks, a dedicated area for supporters on match days, a shopping center, and seasonal events like a winter ice rink, as detailed by L’Equipe.

To diversify revenue sources, the new arena could also host major events such as concerts, exhibitions, American sports competitions, or important matches of other renowned Parisian clubs in disciplines like handball or basketball.

According to L’Equipe, Arctos aims to swiftly implement the project with PSG. Therefore, a decision will soon need to be made. Most likely, it will be far away from Parc des Princes.
