Kylian Mbappé keeps breaking records with the French national team, and according to Daniel Riolo, we may not fully appreciate the journey he has already embarked upon.

Mbappé has surpassed the legend Michel Platini in terms of goals for the French national team. How many other records has he already broken, and how many more can he achieve at only 24 years old? Daniel Riolo praises Mbappé’s performance, especially when faced with recent criticism.

“With the others, we used to say they surpassed Platini, but it was anecdotal because it had nothing to do with the number of matches,” Daniel Riolo explained on RMC radio.

“Yes, Mbappé is a forward, and Platini was a number 10, but what he’s doing is incredible. He’s the only one with an average of over 0.5. When we talk about a ‘crack’ (superstar), we are well aware of it. What he’s been doing in the French national team is incredible, and he’s been doing it since he first set foot in the squad. It’s extraordinary. He’s the one who carries the team; he’s the captain and the leader,” Riolo added.
