Following a hard-fought match, Paris Saint-Germain failed to score a single goal against Clermont (0-0) during the 7th round of Ligue 1.
Danilo Pereira, the 32-year-old Parisian midfielder who has played in 6 Ligue 1 matches this season, expressed his disappointment with his team’s lack of efficiency.
“It was a closed, tactical match, and we couldn’t score. It’s complicated because Clermont defended well and showed aggression. We weren’t good in finishing, and it’s difficult,” he said.
“I’m not surprised (by the opponent’s aggressiveness) because it’s always like this in Ligue 1. It’s up to us to unlock the match. We didn’t try enough in the first half, a bit more in the second,” the Portuguese player lamented on Prime Video.
