City Close to Paris offers vacant land to PSG for its new stadium

The city of Aulnay-sous-Bois, located in the Seine-Saint-Denis department, has put itself forward as a candidate to host PSG and its new stadium.

Aulnay-sous-Bois has volunteered itself as a potential location. PSG has a new site in mind in case of a move from the Parc des Princes. The city has proposed to host the future stadium of Paris Saint-Germain, with a rehabilitation project that includes the industrial wasteland of a former PSA factory, closed in 2014.

Mayor Bruno Beschizza has responded positively to the call from the Île-de-France region and proposes Aulnay-sous-Bois as the location for PSG’s future football stadium within the Val Francilia development project,” the city said in a statement.

“This development project offers more than 50 hectares of ready-to-use land for the new stadium, which will allow for the renewal of currently artificialized land,” the city explained, also mentioning “the opportunity to develop a large training center and redeploy the hotel offer in northeastern Paris, contributing to the expected rebalancing in Île-de-France.”

The city highlights the proximity to Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle airport as well as Le Bourget. The site is accessible via the A1, A3, and A104 highways and will be served by the Grand Paris Express line 16 from 2026.
