Barça Teases PSG with Remontada, Messi, and Neymar

PSG will face FC Barcelona in the quarterfinals of the Champions League: the Spanish club has already ignited the clash.

7 years later, PSG and Barça will meet again. The other confrontation on the Catalan side, in 2021, has already been forgotten. The Spanish club prefers to highlight the remontada.

“Do you remember this? Of course you do,” tweeted Barça’s account, teasing PSG with a photo… of Neymar and Messi. A double tease, as both players have taken shots at PSG since their departure last summer.

Rafa Yuste, vice-president of Barcelona, was more serious on Canal+. “No one is a favorite, it’s 50-50. We have a lot of respect for this opponent. We will play with full force and determination,” he assured before continuing, “PSG is a great team with a great coach that we know well since he’s a friend. It’s a team of world-class level. We will have two spectacular matches given the form of PSG and Barça.”

Marquinhos also reacted to the draw. “The Champions League draw is always a special moment. FC Barcelona is a historic club, a team to respect. It’s an opponent we’ve faced many times in the past, with good and not-so-good moments. We will prepare ourselves in the best possible way.”
