The Parisian club has finally reached an agreement with a sponsor that failed to meet its financial commitments.
Paris Saint-Germain, which has significantly expanded its sponsorship deals in recent years, faced a financial dispute with the German company Gorillas.
The grocery delivery service had signed a €8 million contract with PSG in late 2021 to become a premium sponsor. However, financial difficulties led to Gorillas being acquired by Getir, which later declared bankruptcy in France in June 2023.
Unwilling to forgo the money owed, PSG took legal action to recover the outstanding payments. According to L’Informé, an out-of-court settlement was reached in January 2025, preventing the case from going to trial.
Unlike Tottenham, which had to forfeit €6 million in a similar situation, PSG managed to recover part of the agreed sum, although the exact amount remains undisclosed.
