Rennes goalkeeper Brice Samba acknowledged PSG’s superiority despite his team’s efforts:
“We weren’t far off, and when you play against them, you feel like you’re close… but in the end, the score is what it is.”

Lilian Brassier: “We Gave Them Problems”
Rennes defender Lilian Brassier, who scored his team’s only goal, took pride in their performance:
“I think we can be proud of ourselves, we showed some great things today. But we have to be realistic—when they make their substitutions, it gets even harder.”
