Speaking in the mixed zone after PSG’s qualification against Liverpool (1-0, 4-1 pens.), Nasser Al-Khelaïfi applauded his team’s performance while urging caution.
“Playing at Anfield against the best team in Europe, the Premier League leaders… Our players delivered a great performance, showing immense character. Credit to the players, the coach, and the staff.”
“It’s Not Over Yet”
Despite the impressive win, the PSG president was quick to downplay expectations:
“Everyone will say we’re going to win the Champions League, but no, we are far from that. Today, we celebrate, but we must stay humble.”
“We are building something for the future. We have the best coach in the world and incredibly talented players, but we must keep working hard.”
PSG will face either Aston Villa or Club Brugge in the quarter-finals, determined to stay grounded and continue their European journey.
