Backup goalkeeper Arnau Tenas is dealing with a shoulder issue and will remain in treatment for several days.
However, there’s no mention of Marquinhos, who was initially a doubt after experiencing muscle discomfort against Liverpool.
Luis Enrique Hints at Marquinhos’ Return
The PSG captain could now be available for the Ligue 1 showdown set for Sunday at 20:45 (DAZN).
In his press conference, Luis Enrique addressed the situation: “Is he fit for tomorrow? We took him off against Liverpool because of discomfort, but it’s not an injury at all—he’s fine. We will assess the risk factor and decide if we need to take any precautions. But no, he won’t be resting during the international break.”
Will Marquinhos start against Marseille? Final confirmation will come on matchday, but signs now point to a return.
