Randal Kolo Muani, who was loaned by Paris Saint-Germain to Juventus this winter, seems to have found a new lease on life in Italy.
From being a burden at PSG to becoming a serial scorer at Juve. In just four matches, everything has changed for the 26-year-old French forward. With five goals already at Juventus, Kolo Muani has quickly rediscovered his form and his smile. His transfer, worth €90 million, had weighed heavily on PSG, but things are looking much better for him in Italy.
“Everything is going more than well, I’m very happy to be here. I was welcomed warmly, like part of a big family. I’ve talked with the coach and the captains, and I get along well with all my new teammates. Honestly, I feel really good,” said the World Cup finalist in an interview with Sky Italia.
A Transfer Next Summer?
This was also an opportunity for Kolo Muani to take a subtle jab at PSG. According to him, things work differently at Juventus. “We work a lot, but we work well. It’s a big change compared to Ligue 1. Here, we work much harder, we fight more, and football is much more tactical. I’ve had a great start, my teammates have helped me a lot, they’ve given me the right passes, and I’ve used them well. I repeat, I’m very happy to be here in Turin, and I hope this good moment continues in the future,” Kolo Muani concluded. Luis Enrique will take note.
Juventus now seems keen on keeping him. While PSG isn’t opposed to a transfer, the Italian club would need to pay around €60 million to make it permanent.
