Luis Enrique downplays PSG’s unbeaten run but appreciates a hard-fought win against Toulouse.
Still undefeated after 22 Ligue 1 matches, Paris Saint-Germain secured another victory against Toulouse (1-0) this Saturday. While a perfect season would be historic, it is not a priority for Luis Enrique.
“Finishing unbeaten? That’s not the goal. The goal is to win the league. If we do that, it’s perfect,” the PSG coach told DAZN.
The Spanish manager emphasized the tough challenge posed by a well-organized Toulouse side:
“The start was very balanced. Carles (Martinez Novell) and his staff always make it difficult for us. They defend well, stay compact, and work as a team.”
As for his visible frustration on the bench, Luis Enrique insists it’s just his natural intensity:
“Was I annoyed? No, that’s just my normal state—I always want more.”
