Once again, a former PSG player thrives elsewhere. This time, it’s Marco Asensio, who, much like Randal Kolo Muani at Juventus, seems to be revitalized in the Premier League.
Chelsea’s struggles continue, as they fall 2-1 to Aston Villa on Matchday 26. Despite an early goal from Enzo Fernandez (9′), the Blues were outclassed by a brilliant Marco Asensio.
On loan from PSG, the Spanish playmaker scored his first goals for Villa (57′, 89′), both assisted by Marcus Rashford. With this victory, Aston Villa moves within one point of Chelsea, increasing the pressure on the London club in the standings.
