Paris Saint-Germain is gearing up for a busy schedule with matches against Brest and the start of the Champions League, but Luis Enrique’s squad faces uncertainties regarding three midfielders: Vitinha, Désiré Doué, and Warren Zaïre-Emery.

The international break has been particularly tough for PSG, with injuries to Vitinha, Doué, and Zaïre-Emery occurring with the Portugal, U21, and France national teams, respectively. However, the news is somewhat reassuring for Vitinha and Doué. According to L’Équipe, Vitinha’s ankle injury is not considered “very serious,” and his departure from the field was a “precautionary measure.” Similarly, Désiré Doué may even be available for the match against Bosnia.

Vitinha has returned to Paris for treatment and is expected to be fit for the Ligue 1 clash against Brest this weekend, unless Luis Enrique decides otherwise. On the other hand, the situation is more complicated for Warren Zaïre-Emery, with his availability for the Champions League opener against Girona on September 18 in doubt. He will also miss the match against Brest, potentially forcing Enrique to adjust his lineup.
