After the 4-0 defeat to PSG, some Olympique de Marseille players are expressing their frustration.

“We came with a plan, but it quickly fell apart. When you play a Clasico with so little desire… It’s not acceptable. We should have been more aggressive. We showed too much respect to the Parisians,” said Samuel Gigot on Prime Vidéo.

Paul Lopez, the goalkeeper, shared a similar sentiment. “It’s hard to explain, but it’s the truth. We saw two completely different teams. We saw a Paris that wanted to play and win the match against an OM team that… we did nothing! We lacked in attitudes, runs, in the game, character, everything. We apologize to all the supporters, the people of OM because what we saw, it’s impossible to watch a team like this OM,” he said.

Chancel Mbemba, the central defender, was also highly critical. “It’s hard to explain, but it’s the truth. We saw two completely different teams. We saw a Paris that wanted to play and win the match against an OM team that… we did nothing! We lacked in attitudes, runs, in the game, character, everything. We apologize to all the supporters, the people of OM because what we saw, it’s impossible to watch a team like this OM,” he stated.
