Manuel Ugarte, the 22-year-old Uruguayan international defensive midfielder who joined Paris Saint-Germain this summer, recently shared his experience adapting to life in France in an interview with Oh My Goal.
Manuel Ugarte is already an essential part of PSG’s midfield, and he seems to have quickly taken to his new surroundings, as he discussed in the interview.
“I must say, I’m very happy. I didn’t expect the city to be so amazing. In Paris, there are a million things to do. From what I’ve seen so far, I love it. For me, French football is much more physical than Portuguese football,” he stated.
“The Ligue 1 is very competitive, and playing for this club, under this coach, with such high-quality players, all of that makes me better to be at their level.”
