Paris claims the championship, which was already known. But that’s not all. Paris Saint-Germain secured a 2-0 victory against Metz this Sunday at the Stade Saint-Symphorien, during the 34th matchday of the 2023-2024 Ligue 1 season.
This win enables PSG to clinch two records in French football: the highest number of points earned away from home (43, surpassing Saint-Étienne’s 40 points) in a league with 18 teams or fewer, as well as the record for unbeaten away matches.
