The PSG’s 2-1 victory over Nice brought joy to Parisian coach Luis Enrique.
He had warned before Nice-PSG: there’s no question of feeling like on vacation. The pressure was on PSG players Wednesday night. But the victory brought a smile back to PSG coach Luis Enrique.
“I think the attackers did an exemplary defensive job today. It allowed us to defend with one more player behind the defensive line. They all played well or very well, with the right attitude, with the right ambition,” he said.
“Against an opponent like Nice, who was playing for European places, I believe we played at a high level. We are happy. Happy for the goals, for Yoram Zague, who scored on his birthday. And then, it’s always nice to see that the team continues to grow,” rejoiced the Spaniard in front of PSG’s media.
