Kylian Mbappé didn’t play for the French national team against Germany due to a decision to preserve the player, who was experiencing discomfort in his knee.

It’s not a major issue, but due to a knee discomfort, the French national team captain didn’t participate in the match against Germany. “Parisian forward Kylian Mbappé, who didn’t come on the field against Germany on Tuesday with the French national team, is fit for the Nice game but is not yet at 100%,” reports L’Equipe.

“Known for his careful planning in recent years, ‘KMB’ knows that he will be expected next week. A buildup is scheduled,” according to L’Equipe.

PSG indeed has a series of big matches ahead: Dortmund in the Champions League next week, followed by a match against OM in Ligue 1. So, Mbappé has been preserved, and no risks will be taken.
