After the 1-1 draw against Rennes in Ligue 1 on Sunday, Paris Saint-Germain defender Lucas Hernandez reflected on the match. He sees this result as a warning for the rest of the season.
“It wasn’t easy against a good Rennes team that was on a good run. We salvaged a point but it’s always a reality check for what lies ahead. They did a good defensive job, they scored from their first opportunity… It’s never easy to play against a defensive team. We tried to attack from the flanks, but it didn’t work,” commented the French international.
