In a Friday press conference, Luis Enrique discussed the possibility of squad rotation for PSG’s players.

The international break is approaching, and many PSG players will be on international duty. There’s also the upcoming Champions League match against Newcastle next week, making it an ideal opportunity for squad rotation against Clermont. However, Luis Enrique is keeping his plans under wraps.

“Changes? You will see that tomorrow; my goal is to field the best possible team and boost the players’ confidence,” he stated. Nevertheless, he did mention a potential change in the defense. The team will also need to account for the long absence of Nuno Mendes, who underwent surgery on Friday.

“It’s something that was already planned. With Nuno Mendes, we have to be even more attentive. We are keeping our options open. These things happen during a season. I won’t complain with the squad I have,” Luis Enrique added.

“There are many areas for improvement. The players will identify situations without the need for the coach to point them out. To be honest, I’m very satisfied with what the players are showing,” Luis Enrique conceded.
