Despite their 3-2 victory against Brest in Ligue 1, the Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) struggled in the second half, leaving PSG’s coach, Luis Enrique, dissatisfied with his team’s performance after halftime.

The PSG had a strong start, creating four or five scoring opportunities, especially in the opening 20 minutes. However, the team’s performance took a hit after Brest scored their first goal at the end of the first half.

“The second half was probably the worst PSG has played since I’ve been the coach. They delivered many crosses, dominated in aerial duels. I wouldn’t have been surprised if Brest had won the match,” acknowledged the Spanish coach during the press conference.

Luis Enrique’s comments shed light on the significant shift in PSG’s performance during the game and the challenges they faced in the second half, despite ultimately securing the win.
