PSG performs better at the start of the season when Kylian Mbappé is on the field: is this a cause for concern? Not for Luis Enrique.

Kylian Mbappé has already scored 7 goals in Ligue 1. The difference has been noticeable since his return to the starting lineup. Should this Mbappé dependence be a cause for concern, especially when Kolo Muani and Dembélé are missing opportunities, and Ramos isn’t finding his partners?

“It’s a good concern. If you have a player like Kylian Mbappé, who usually scores 50 goals, it would be ridiculous to think that he won’t maintain these numbers,” assures Luis Enrique. “What we need is for him to continue improving, and for his teammates to contribute more,” says the PSG coach.

Regarding Kolo Muani and Ramos, Luis Enrique hopes for improvement. “I expect a lot from all the players. What we expect is to be an efficient team in both attack and defense. We focus on statistics, but assists are important.”

“The way we start the game as well, when we require good ball delivery to the attackers so they can finish. We try to make the attackers press. I can’t just focus on the players who score.”
