PSG showed nothing against Clermont on Saturday. A 0-0 draw that left Luis Enrique visibly frustrated, but not necessarily because of his players’ performance.

PSG seemed to be in off-mode at Clermont. Challenged by the bottom team in the league, Parisians displayed their poor form. However, for Luis Enrique, the players were not to blame. “I feel sorry because it was a difficult match, and we knew it. I think we created more chances than Clermont, and we should have won this match,” the Parisian coach first stated.

Luis Enrique did not appreciate the state of the pitch: “I’m happy with the players’ performance. We could have been more aggressive in the first half, but it was tough to play on this pitch. It was challenging conditions for us.”

“We’re trying to create and win matches; the attackers are trying to score, to shoot well, but every time it bounces off. They changed the pitch three days ago, but we weren’t lucky enough to have a pitch in good condition,” he added.
