L’Equipe unveils the revenue from TV rights for the 2023/2024 season. It’s a jackpot for PSG.

Ligue 1 may be facing turmoil for the upcoming season, but for the season that just ended, it’s a jackpot, especially for PSG. The club is at the top for the distribution of TV broadcast bonuses for the 2023-2024 season. PSG will receive 60 million euros.

“In detail, they receive 15.15 million euros for finishing first in the championship, plus 2.98 million euros for their sporting ranking over the last five seasons, and 13.48 million euros related to their popularity,” writes L’Equipe.

“To these amounts, one must add 6.78 million euros as a fixed part and 4.5 million euros for the club license, like all 17 other teams that participated in the championship this season. Additionally, there are international rights. Due to their consistency in the Champions League, they also take the largest share. PSG’s share is 32.8%, which grants them an additional 17.1 million euros. These 60 million euros will be included in the 2023-2024 Parisian budget, which will be closed on June 30 and will exceed 800 million euros for the second year in a row.”
