Kylian Mbappé, the forward for Paris Saint-Germain, spoke on Amazon Prime following the 3-0 victory against Reims on Saturday at the Stade Auguste Delaune in the 12th round of the 2023-2024 Ligue 1 season.

Mbappé breaks his silence. After his hat-trick against Reims, the Parisian forward discussed his team’s first-place position in the Ligue 1 standings, his hat-trick, and refuted rumors surrounding his future after a tumultuous summer.

“All we wanted was to win; Nice had drawn, and we wanted to take the lead, and that’s done. We’re happy. We’ll have time to think about the Champions League, but Ligue 1 is another competition, so it’s a different mindset and a different way of playing. We’re happy; now we’re going home,” he said.

“It feels good to score a hat-trick, but the most important thing is to have good sensations in the game. Humbly, I don’t need to play well to score, but what I want is to play well and score. It’s always my goal to want to help my team as best as possible on the field, in the game, and on the scoresheet.”

And the departure rumors? “The most important thing for me was to play football; the rest you do well (the media). I don’t want to talk to overinflate things; I think there’s already enough.”
